bio.

Eric Devlin was born and raised in the Boston area (Everett, MA specifically), and has been drawing pictures pretty much all along. In high school his interest in visual arts grew, which led to many accolades and such - eventually leading to undergraduate studies at Massachusetts College of Art. Devlin graduated from MassArt in 2002 with a BFA in illustration and a lot of great memories. Shortly after came the co-founding of Acronym Comics, which included the modest success of the "Citizen Elvis" title. In 2006, Devlin moved to New York City to further pursue his career in the arts. In the fall of 2009, he has begun studying toy design at the Fashion Institute of Technology in NYC.

Devlin's work has been featured in The Boston Globe, Boston's Weekly Dig and the Pasadena Weekly. He has done artwork for the Dresden Dolls and the American Repertory Theater in Cambridge, MA. Devlin has has many exhibitions in New York and Boston and has been a featured artist in such magazines as Apt, the Middlesex Beat and NY Arts Magazine.

While enrolled in FIT, Devlin is still available for freelance illustration jobs, and comic book covers and pin ups, time permitting.
